Kurukshetra: The higher education department approved 24 skill development centres inside existing government colleges, aiming to certify one lakh students annually.
Industry partners will design curricula in drone operations, electric vehicle servicing, logistics and digital marketing, with guaranteed interview opportunities after completion.
Principal secretary (higher education) said centres will run in evening shifts so degree students can enrol without clashing with regular classes.
